Grasshopper Scripts for Topographic Surface Analysis

Even though there are many tools in GIS system to analyze topographic surface such as aspects, slopes, contours at the regional scale, options for site-scale topo analysis are limited. Civil3D has many surface analysis functions, but its interoperability issues make it difficult for conceptual design tasks. This study developed a Grasshopper tool in Rhino to calculate topographic properties efficiently.
